We recently made an alliance with social media experts, Socialbakers . Together we developed a study to analyze the accounts of the brands and companies with the best reputation in Mexico.

The objective was to identify and rank the brands with the highest engagement on Social Networks with content focused on improving their reputation. Were analyzed:270 social profiles
Three networks: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter 937 thousand posts
The mechanics consisted of identifying those contents that had had greater engagement (interaction) in the last year; the only requirement was that they had been designed to strengthen the reputation of the brand through communicating corporate responsibility actions.

How much do followers care about these topics? Are they really interested in topics that involve social or environmental impacts of brands? The answer is ABSOLUTELY YES.

Audience engagement with this type of content increased + 59% vs. 2019, generating 1.95 million interactions.What are the social networks that work best?
The social networks that brands use the most to publish content that contributes to building reputation are in order: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Ironically, the engagement rate is much higher on Instagram, so we should better consider where our audience is.

The content of reputation and corporate responsibility is today a juncture from which brands, regardless of their size and sector, could take advantage to generate a differential advantage over their competitors.
And now, who are the brands that have done the best reputation marketing, communicating their corporate responsibility actions?The 20 brands with the highest engagement in Social Networks building reputation To develop this study and the ranking, all the content analyzed were organic posts considered public data. Dark Posts and paid content were not considered.The analysis spanned from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020. The 100 brands of the Merco 2020 Ranking 100 that have corporate profiles on social networks were taken as a basis.
