The expectation for Inbound Leaders 2020 is exciting! After an edition in 2019 that left the attendees more than satisfied, we are already receiving requests from those who want to attend the eighth edition of Inbound Leaders. In 2019, the audience was fascinated by speakers such as Marcos Latorre, an expert in business technologies and director of the digital area of Hiberius Tecnología, an international consultancy that has a turnover of more than 50 million euros every year.In his presentation “Digital Ecosystem” , Marcos explained what they are and how they affect us the commercial strategies that companies such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Adobe, SAP, cell number database and Microsoft are applying. He also gave us details about the very varied (and even unknown) typologies of digital tools that exist and that can help us in ways and means that we did not imagine .But what can Marcos tell us about the past Inbound Leaders 2019 event? Let’s see a short interview:Next, I leave you with some of the most revealing ideas of the Digital Ecosystem talk by Marcos Latorre . Essential!Parent topic: what is the biggest problem in technology deployments?Marcos explained the problem with a very clear metaphor:Many companies, after not choosing the tools correctly, over time end up building a digital ecosystem similar to a Frankenstein . That is, with the intention of having an optimal ecosystem, but with the result of creating something completely mixed, distorted and harmful. For example, digital environments with:
Multiple patches to try and fix the bugs.
Forcibly implemented software that is incompatible with each other.
Valuable data scattered everywhere and without being able to unify them. Each department having its own technologies separately and disconnected from corporate systems.
All this gives rise to ungovernable projects that only bring chaos to organizations. Surely you know cases like this.Do you want to be aware of the latest news from Inboound Leaders 2020? Sign up in this form!

What is the solution to avoid these technological “Frankensteins”?
Solving these increasingly common problems and successfully implementing a high-performance digital ecosystem requires three steps.First step: develop a strategic vision of what the entire company needs at the business level, including the needs of each department.
Then, prioritize the requirements and study how to satisfy them progressively (one by one) using technological tools. Always bearing in mind that implementations must start with a single PMV, and then scale.Never start with several technologies or processes at the same time, as this Betting Email List the margins of error.Step two: learn what strategies software vendors are adopting to increasingly help us with implementations.
The big brands know that in most cases we need several types of tools to tackle different tasks, but the challenge is that these tools are compatible with each other. For this reason, multiplatform solutions and suite solutions have been designed .Multiplatforms are alliances between several providers that allow us to use each other’s software and integrate them with each other as naturally as if it came from a single provider. The suites are a set of different specialized tools (all-in-one) offered by the same provider so that we can address several needs at the same time, without having to use a tool from another brand. Both cases, multiplatform and suites, have their own advantages and disadvantages.Third step: take into account, from the beginning, different factors so that the digital ecosystem is sustained over time.
Some questions that we must ask ourselves for this are the following:Do we need an on-premise, cloud or SaaS solution? The on-premise give us high levels of customization, but few of scalability. The cloud and SaaS are equal technologically, but vary in hiring models. What technologies does our IT department master? Each tool is built on a specific technology (PHP, Java or .Net, among others). One point in favor is choosing a tool whose technology is widely known by our IT department.
What plugins do we need to be able to scale? There are several types of complementary tools that help us scale a specific functionality. Some of these tools are: indexers, PIM systems, multimedia managers or communication buses, among others.
